by the Director General and Ambassador at Large....
I am particularly delighted to write
this forward making the introduction of the first
international comprehensive Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and International Cooperation Website.
On behalf of the
Government and Staff of this Ministry and on my own
behalf, I wish to welcome viewers and visitors to our Web site.
This Website is of immense significance
in the history of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation and it serves as a gateway to
Sierra Leoneans in the Diaspora and the International
Community.
The Foreign
Ministry serving as a window to the world would continue
to lead in our international contacts and strive to
realize the strategic expansion with its international and
local partners for the benefit of the country, Sierra
Leone.
It is note worthy that this Website is
being established at a time when we as Sierra Leoneans can
look back with some satisfaction on the effort and
sacrifices we are making to find solutions to the
challenges facing us. Collectively putting our efforts
together as we have being doing would lead us to success.
Finally, I want to thank UNDP for its
support in this direction and to our partners, I say thank
you for making the journey with us especially for your
support in our effort to find a comprehensive foreign
policy in our endeavours to create the enabling
environment for sustainable development.
